Charleston, S.C. –United Bank has once again earned the position of the No. 1 bank in South Carolina on Forbes’ list of Best-in-State Banks for 2024. Forbes presented its annual ranking of banks in each state according to an independent survey of U.S. consumers and a sentiment analysis of publicly available reviews and ratings, which resulted in a top spot for United.

Forbes’ survey participants were asked to share their level of satisfaction with their bank or credit union, their willingness to recommend it to others, and to rate the organization on such criteria as: customer service, the quality of financial advice offered by representatives, fee structures, ease of navigating digital services and accessing help at branch locations, and the degree of trust the financial institutions inspired.
