VIENNA, Va. – United Bank hosted its 24th annual Charity Classic golf tournament on Monday in support of Inova Kellar Center, raising approximately $375,000 to support behavioral health services to children, adolescents, and families in Northern Virginia. This year’s event brought the Classic’s lifetime total of funds raised to over $8.8 million.

For 35 years, Inova Kellar Center’s comprehensive adolescent mental health and substance use disorder treatment programs and its innovative special education school have supported families throughout Northern Virginia. Proceeds from the Classic provide funding that enables Inova Kellar Center’s expansion of clinical services, support for critical staff positions, and financial assistance for children and families who may not have the resources to obtain treatment.

This year’s Classic brought together a distinguished group of corporate and community leaders, attracting hundreds of business and community supporters, as well as 140 golfers to the Country Club of Fairfax on Oct. 5.
