Changes to United Bank Consumer & Business Terms

Effective September 1, 2026

We've updated both the United Bank Consumer and Business Terms and Conditions, with changes effective September 1, 2026. Here are a few of the most significant changes:

  • Account Security and Fraud Prevention: We added new terms that allow for quicker action if we detect potentially
    unauthorized or fraudulent transactions.
  • Communications and Alerts: We updated how we can communicate with you about your account, including automated
    fraud and security alerts.
  • Dispute Resolution and Arbitration: We updated the dispute resolution process to require that we attempt to resolve
    disputes informally before initiating arbitration or a lawsuit.
