How do I set up direct deposit for federal benefit payments?

Federal benefit payments are required to be made electronically to protect you against rising mail theft and fraud.  After September 30, 2025, a direct deposit will be required to a bank or credit union or to the Direct Express® Debit Mastercard® card.

You can enroll online, call 1.877.874.6347, or by mail when you download and complete the necessary form.
