Supporting our Communities in the Wake of Hurricane Helene

Supporting our Communities Impacted by the Flooding in West Virginia

United Bank is committed to supporting our customers and our communities across Upshur and Lewis counties of West Virginia to help them recover from the devastating flooding as quickly as possible.

In an effort to provide some relief to affected customers, we have adopted several temporary exceptions to support those we serve.  The following options are available to all our customers located in a FEMA-declared area for up to 90 days from the initial declaration.

  • Overdraft and ATM fees will be refunded automatically for any customer in a FEMA Declared Disaster county.
  • CDs can be accessed without penalties.
  • Payment deferrals of 90 days will be made available until Nov. 1 to impacted customers upon request.
  • Environmental Incident Loan Program:  A special loan program developed specifically for customers in affected areas.
