United Bank Charity Classic
Benefiting Inova Kellar Center and United Bank Community Fund
We are proud to host the United Bank Charity Classic and continue a rich tradition of community support started by Cardinal Bank in 2002. Since then, the event has raised more than $6.1million and annually attracts more than 500 business and community supporters. The majority of funds raised have benefited Inova Kellar Center, making possible the opening of Kellar’s campus and funding critical staff positions, services and treatment for patients and their families. Your generosity and support make a tangible impact every day.
Proceeds from the Classic also provide funding for the United Bank Community Fund, which supports nonprofit initiatives in the areas of children, education, healthcare, affordable housing, economic vitality and financial literacy. Relationships are the foundation of our success, and we are proud to support the important and often life-changing work of our nonprofit partners throughout Virginia, Maryland and D.C.
Thanks to widespread community support, the tournament raised over $200,000 in 2019, and we hope we can count on your participation this year. Through your generosity, we can have an even greater impact on our communities and ensure that the future is bright for all those who live and work in the D.C. metro area. Together we can make a difference. We look forward to seeing you on Monday, October 5.

Inova Kellar Center is honored to continue the Charity Golf Classic tradition with the support of United Bank. Proceeds from the Classic that are designated for Inova Kellar Center provide funding that enables the Center to expand clinical services, finance critical staff positions and provide financial support to children and families who may not have the resources to obtain treatment. Through philanthropic support, the Inova Kellar Center is able to use evidence-based treatment interventions that are informed through standardized assessments focusing on best practices to ensure positive outcomes for children and their families.
A portion of the proceeds from the United Cardinal Classic benefit the United Bank Community Fund, which provides grants to local nonprofits in the areas of children, education, healthcare, affordable housing, economic vitality and financial literacy. The United Bank Community Fund is an advised fund of the Community Foundation for Northern Virginia, a nonprofit, 501(c)3 organization. We are proud to support the important and often life-changing work of our nonprofit partners throughout Virginia, Maryland and D.C.
